Anything Goes
Anything Goes premiered on Broadway on 21 November 1934 at the Alvin Theatre, where it ran for 420 performances, becoming the fourth longest-running musical of the 1930s. A revised version of the show opened off-Broadway at the Orpheum Theatre on 15 May 1962. In 1987, Lincoln Centre Theatre produced an updated version of the show. Opening at Broadway’s Vivian Beaumont Theatre on 19 October 1987 won the Tony Award for Best Revival, and played for 784 performances.
In 2011, the Beaumont version was revived at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre on Broadway. Once again, Anything Goes won the Tony for Best Musical Revival, and the production ran for 521 performances.
The story concerns madcap antics aboard an ocean liner bound from New York to London. Billy Crocker is a stowaway in love with heiress Hope Harcourt, who is engaged to Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Nightclub singer Reno Sweeney and Public Enemy Number 13, "Moonface" Martin, aid Billy in his quest to win Hope.

Whistle Down the Wind

Whistle Down the Wind is based on the novel by Mary Hayley Bell and the film produced by Richard Attenborough and directed by Bryan Forbes. Reimagined by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Jim Steinman, the story is set in 1959 Louisiana, deep in America’s South.
The musical follows Swallow, a young girl struggling with the loss of her mother, who discovers a mysterious stranger she believes to be Jesus. As the town searches for an escaped convict, the local children fight to protect him from the suspicious adult world around them. Blending fantasy, faith, and reality, the story explores loss, hope, and self-discovery, set to a powerful score of haunting ballads and explosive rock music.

GREASE is a flashback to the fabulous fifties, the testosterone-fuelled T-Birds, the trend-setting Pink Ladies and the on-off relationship between Danny and Sandy, made famous by the 1978 film starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.
Head "greaser" Danny Zuko and new “good girl” Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the high romance of their "Summer Nights" as they, along with the rest of the Rydell High gang, sing and dance their way through the stellar score including the hits "Greased Lightnin'," "You’re The One That I Want," and "Hopelessly Devoted To You", recalling the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard, and Elvis Presley that became the sound of a generation.
GREASE is among the world's most popular musicals and is a timeless, energetic show with infectiously catchy songs. An ode to young love that never gets old.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame

The Hunchback of Notre Dame is based on the novel by Victor Hugo and features songs from the Disney animated film, alongside new music written for the stage adaptation.
Set in fifteenth-century Paris, the story follows Quasimodo, the isolated bell-ringer of Notre Dame, who dreams of experiencing life beyond the cathedral walls. Escaping during the Feast of Fools, he encounters the kind-hearted Esmeralda, whose compassion changes his world forever. But as Quasimodo, Captain Phoebus, and the manipulative Frollo become entwined in her fate, the struggle between love, power, and justice threatens the city’s Romani community — leaving Quasimodo to fight to protect those he loves.

An infamous tale, Sweeney Todd, an unjustly exiled barber, returns to nineteenth century London, seeking vengeance against the lecherous judge who framed him and ravaged his young wife. The road to revenge leads Todd to Mrs. Lovett, a resourceful proprietress of a failing pie shop, above which, he opens a new barber practice. Mrs. Lovett's luck sharply shifts when Todd's thirst for blood inspires the integration of an ingredient into her meat pies that has the people of London lining up... and the carnage has only just begun!
